YOGA – THE HEALTH OF TODAY WAS THE ANCIENT WISDOM

Yoga is a very old practice that is actually some 5000 years old. This is not a traditional practice though but it was found from the Hindu’s documents that are ancient and then it was passed on to the other people. It is actually wisdom from the ancient age and it has become today’s health. The yoga are of different types and it has major health effects that helps a man to live with peace and maintain harmony. The yoga actually helps to explore your mind and vent out the frustrated feelings that you have in the mind. The first of its type is the karma yoga which is like the yoga of action in the world. The bhagvad gita which is almost 400 years old has defined and explained everything about yoga in it. The religious book has everything on it and it has explained briefly.
The second branch of the yoga which forms the major is the jnana yoga which is like the wisdom and intellectual endeavor. The third major branch is the bhakti yoga which is like the devotion of god. The fourth branch is the dhyana yoga and it is like the yoga of meditation. Yogi swatmarma was the man who introduced the hatha yoga in the 15thcentury and it is based on the patanjali. This patanjali yoga helps in enlightening the goal and also helps in meditation. Hatha yoga is one of the most popular and famous yoga that is being adopted and done by many of the yoga learners and practitioners. This type of yoga helps for the physical and the mental purification. But when compared thepatanjali yoga is completely different from that of this hatha yoga. Because the hatha yoga helps in the purification of the physical aspects but the later one helps in the purification of the mind and helps in meditating and attaining peace with harmony.
The hatha yoga applies for a holistic approach and helps in attaining purity of the mind and the body. They redefine life and helps in meditation. The harmony of the mind is maintained and peace is attained with these forms of yoga. The physical purification with that of the mind and also the mental purification are also attained. The pranayam helps in maintaining the rhythmic breathing and this in turn helps in maintaining good respiratory system in the body. When the body receives fresh air through the asanas which is a posture done during the yoga, then the physical health is maintained and the blood regulation and the circulation are increased.
Asanas also has the standing and the sitting exercises. It can also start from the position when a person is lying on his back and then the other postures are done in the following sequence. This helps in flexing the body and thereby making the body and the muscles suppler and then the health is maintained. It helps for a healthy life and peaceful mind.
